Nick Sully MAIBC Principal

Nick founded Shape and has been practicing architecture in Vancouver and abroad for fifteen years. Upon graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Master's Degree in Architecture he went on to work for Patkau Architects in Vancouver followed by several years in England with firms Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands in London and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios in Bath.

Nick brings to Shape Architecture a wealth of public facilities knowledge from local and national Canadian projects as well as award-winning sustainable communities master-planning and sports stadium experience from his years in the UK. Nick's strength is his consistent ability to create and coordinate effective professional teams to solve problems for private industry and public community stakeholders. He is a regular critic at the University of British Columbia's School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Nick is a registered Architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia.

Nick is currently leading the team of consultants for the new home for Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of British Columbia.
