EVAN HAUPTMANN, LEED-AP Evan joined SHAPE in May 2010 as a student intern. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at UBC and has previously graduated with distinction from the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. Evan has gained experience from working with several architectural firms in New York, Maryland, and Washington, DC. He has worked on numerous designs for sustainable neighborhoods, housing, retail, and office projects and has both expanded and contributed his knowledge through volunteer work at the Washington DC Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Evan brings to SHAPE an interest in responsible housing and integrated community design and a curiosity about the future of localism in an increasingly globalized world.
